It is Definitely Spring

Although we are about a month behind here in Missouri, spring has come at last and inspired by

urbanpagan2  - I squished around my yard yesterday and took some pictures...Then I had trouble deciding which ones to share so be warned that behind the cut it is

I brought these bulbs with me when I moved here in 1977.. lovely Mt. Hood whtie dafoodils that still bloom every spring!

And my concrete "peace" sign with the missing finger... I know I saw that finger just the other day, and wonder if it could or even should be reattached :)

The grape hyacinths are abundant and exceptionally beautiful this year too!

The herb garden is looking good too!

Although they are passed I couldn't help but include the anemones with their delicate blooms.

And this post would not be complete without a picture of one of the Eastern Redbud trees!

Hooray for Spring!!

Thank you for sharing. The pictures are great. I don't think I have ever seen those white dafodils brfore. Gorgeous. And I am envious of your grape hyacinths. I planted them every year for the first four years we lived here and if I get one blooming I am lucky. The squirrels REALLY love those. :-)

And I would be tempted to leave your "Peace" sign just the way it is. :-)
