High on Life

My life has changed so drastically in the last 3 months that some days I still find myself feeling as if I am in a spiral...but gratefully not every day :)

Since January, one of my dearest and oldest friends on this planet died, my cat never came back, my husband retired and my daughter and granddaughter moved out.  A great shift occurred and I am loving the changes in me.  I think I have made the passage to crone fully and completely.

I will admit to a long upstreamedness ( is that a word? ) in regards to becoming a crone, but I am feeling the power that age and knowledge brings so strongly these days that I wonder why I fought so hard against it.

Having my husband around ALL the time is odd, and requires adjustment.  I am so grateful that I have this bedroom and attached bath with a door that locks and music on my computer, and hey I am grateful for the computer too!!

I miss the sound of my granddaughter's voice in the mornings, but I don't have to watch Sponge Bob anymore, though maybe he was better than the news stuff my husband prefers LOL..  It is really cool getting to be a grandma who can spoil her and let her eat ice cream for breakfast if she wants.

I love being free of the desire for men *giggle*... it leaves a me a lot more time for other creative pursuits :)

I am happy with myself for starting not one, but two on line shops that continue to amaze me with their success, and the lovely things that people say about my work.  After all, I am a serious hermit and sometimes do need social interaction, so it's pretty cool to hang out with a bunch of artsy peeps.

I am grateful for senior discounts, people who think it is now time to "do" things for me, and my new found ability to allow them to do it.

Love to all..
