Party on Dudes - Part 2

Friday was used to recover from Turkey Day and do laundry. Saturday found me tired and somewhat wonky, but able to walk to Erin's house to celebrate my birthday and that of my niece who lives in Dallas. She was born on my birthday and we aren't often together when the birthday rolls around. But this year Fortune smiled And we were together for my 72 And her 49-  and only one day past the full moon. Intense energies were everywhere. Another fab family convention was celebrated with gusto.

We ate. When do we Not? At all gatherings there will be food, really good food.

We went outside and sat around the fire. Wrote on pieces of paper words about whatever we'd like to be rid of in the coming time and threw the papers in the fire. Magic.

I arrived at 3 pm and went home @8, So 5 hrs of fun. Was asleep within 15 minutes of reaching the couch. Even fun makes me tired.

Massive snow driven by gusting winds gave us a whiteout scene yesterday afternoon. I slept for a while. Woke up hungry, ate a bowl of chili and was up most of last night being ill. Today again recovering, and feeling not bad. Made potato soup and tuna salad, put away my laundry.

Enjoying the drips from the icicles and feeling grateful I don't have to go outside.

Even did some holiday shopping and wondered why I'm starting so early.

Maybe I'll finish "Life on Mars."

Nearing the center of dishcloth no. 4, clever me decided to see just how many I can complete by Christmas.

And now back to the regularly scheduled program.
