WOW-we did it!!

Been working for the last several years to see this happen. Many times it seemed an impossible dream, but the voters have spoken.

It's still hard to believe MEDICAL marijuana is not legal everywhere. BUT, that said, I'm pleased the Missourians saw the light. Good news!

Everything in the real world is hard for me to understand, but I am super pumped about this.

Congrats! I was sad about Claire McCaskill, though.

Why sad? Politics is a nasty game. I think she was in too deep.

On the up side many new women moving up, 2 Muslim, 2 Native American and a very young half Puerto Rican in NY.

true! I was just hopeful. I donated to her campaign and was rooting for her.

Thank Heaven!
God forbid I ever get sick enough to need it, but I'm glad it's available for those people who need it!
I so wish those hard-hearted politicians who vote against such things as medical marijuana could spend a month suffering in agony without it.

Found an interesting article that you might be interested in:

Please tell me what you think.

It certainly makes sense to me. The mind is, after all, in charge of the body and emotions are often expressed as physical pain. So, if you can placate the mind with drugs, all kinds of issues feel better.

I have pain every day, both emotional and physical and have repeatedly turned down offers for opiates as I do not not like the side effects. Cannot use over the counter meds as they upset my stomach. Cannabis is a great pain reliever for both the emotions and the body. The side effects are minimal and it is not addictive.

Much of the problem lies, imho, with the energy of this planet, war, disease and fear are served up daily on the news and internet. We are programmed to live in fear and fear causes pain. And, doctors just push pills constantly instead of looking at diet and lifestyle changes. Medicine has become a business and nothing is cured, but instead managed.

Very interesting article. Did not know the opiate crisis was happening in Australia as it is here. Will share with my daughter who is currently in Nurse Practitioner school. She plans to make her practice more holistic.

Wow I wrote s book lol, but this subject is close to my heart.

Good on your state!

It's still being debated over here.

It is very conservative here so I was surprised but grateful. So many medical uses and so much better thsn chemical meds.

Great news. I gotta say that cannabis is great for stomach issues and pain!

It IS? I have so much of that! I hope to heal it, but if I can't, then it's good to know that there is some pain relief out there, because it really hurts. There are a lot of pain receptors down there, it seems.

Did you know there are more receptors of all kinds in the gut than in the brain? Great book on this subject is "Molecules of Emotion" by Candice Pert.

Also CBD oil which is legal here is good for pain. You can buy it online. I use Bluebird Botanicals.

Yes, been hearing that recently. Been looking that up because Old Flame's illness is because the vagus nerve is connected in ways that it shouldn't, and his autonomic nervous system is effected.

Thanks for the book reference. I must see if I can find it.

That's good that it is legal where you are. I'm sure it will become legal here, too. Very expensive, though.

This much I know, it connects to your dopamine receptors. It is good for some people (and kids) with bad epilepsy.

We have Cannopathy here, but I think that is only in homeopathic doses.
