Picked up a notepad and found this entry that I had scribbled down some few days ago and forgot to transfer to LJ. I include it now as it is helpful for me to remember that many tasks do get done and a way for me to recall planting dates:
Thought if I took note of what I did do, the rest would appear more doable,
Planted romaine, radishes, zinnias, and bachelor's buttons.
Reseeded spaces in carrot rows and thinned the rest.
Trent cleared brick patios.
Can see collards, chard and kale coming up and am pleased that the new Japanese Maple survived the winter.
Went to eye doctor, ordered new glasses. Was there for 2 1/2 hours. Best doc quote, while viewing a pic of my optic nerve, "Well, that could be a small change or maybe it's just an artifact." Spent $350.
And yes, writing down accomplishments is much better than bitching, whining, and moaning about what is still to be done.
