Pincushions

OMG I actually finished a project and am off to make more. The nice spring weather went away and we were inside all weekend so I got out the pincushion I had started and amazed myself by finishing two. I think I'll cut out some more.

Felt crummy when I got up so took a 2 hrs nap and am much better now. Laid down with Inspector Morse and the cats and zoned right out.

Erin's house just might be finished this weekend. Sure hope so as we are getting on each other's last nerve.

Tracy went back to work after her bout of influenza Type B. She was off an entire week, don't think I've seen her that sick since she had walking pneumonia years ago. So glad she's feeling better now.

Spring has deserted us and there was a wee bit if snow this morning. The dog enjoyed it. So far the crocus and daffodils are holding their own against the frigid temps. I'm ready for spring to return, but till it does,  I've got pincushions to make.

What a pretty garden! I envy your crocuses.

The pincushions are really nice too. What will you do with them all? Apologies if you have already posted that - I'm working backwards through my reading.

The crocus have bloomed exceptionally well this year as have the daffodils, last year they were sparse.

As for the pincushions, they will end up as gifts.

Happy pin cushion making!

I hope that Spring will soon find you again and bring with it all the warmth and renewal that it ushers in. I see by our weather forecast that we will be back in the 50's by this weekend. Oh, well, it was nice while it lasted!

I'd be happy with 50, maybe next week.

And we are all grumbling because our temperatures are dropping back to the 60's next week. We're never happy as a species for very long.

The pincushions are gorgeous!

I love Inspector Morse too!

The gazing ball is awesome and the statue as well. I love having those in the garden.

Thanks, i have a lot of gazing balls, love em.

I'm almost finished with the Morse books and I'll miss him. He's not very cuddly and drinks too much, but is ever so clever.

Thanks. These I stuffed with fiberfill very tightly. The husband brought me some wood shavings and I want to try that with some lentils in the bottom for weight. I found a cute pattern for a chicken to try today.
