50 Day Question Challenge 2016 - Day 10

10. What’s your favorite book/movie of all time and why did it speak to you so much?

"Harold and Maude" gets the honors in the movie category. Though I haven't watched it in years, I can still hear the music. Maude epitomized everything I wanted to be when I got old. I'm not all she was, but I'm still a seeker, a lover of life. I'm enough. The music, the message, and the characters of that movie are impressed in my memories until I have none left.

That brings back some memories. My first year roommate loved this movie. I never watched it, possibly because I didn't like her very much. She was also a huge fan of a couple of musicians that I didn't want to like at the time. One of them (Carole King) has become a favourite though. I have always been curious about this movie - maybe I need to watch it now. And rethink that roommate - maybe she was okay after all.

Always been a Carole King fan. Odd though, isn't it, how we form opinions and then years later a book, a movie or a person comes back around and we find we can now appreciate them.
