Painting rocks

First painted rocks I've done. I can see the dot technique is going to take practice. Also notice the instability in my hands, practice will help that.  The seashell was more of a challenge because the surface is so rough and it's so porous that it sucks up paint quickly.

A nice diversion on a very rainy chilly Saturday in rural Missouri.

They look pretty good to me.

Have you considered (my first words were 'arm-rest' but it turns out the technical name is) a bridge which will allow you to rest your arm a solid platform to improve stability? The one linked is for glass painting but I can see it also being useful for rock painting.

I hope to improve with time and practice and a few new brushes lol Thanks for the tip, that might help and for the encouragement.
