She felt her accomplishments to be paltry
A dozen jars of bright red raspberry jam mocked her thoughts
And she did not see

Til with life's ending breaths her life spread
Before her revealing the richness
The absolute artistry of existence fully spent
Her open-ended eyes unveiled

Beauty unsurpassed in the flake of a pie crust
Joy absolute in the eyes of a child
Sunshine on a polished mirror
The woman smiled
