6. Do you save old greeting cards and letters? Throw them away? Yes and no and sometimes...I can't remember the last time I received a "real" letter, but I have some from many years ago. In fact, I have this huge box of all the letter my father wrote to my mother during WWII. He wrote nearly every day and sometimes twice a day. The letters show me why she married him. They are incredibly romantic and well written. She must have been swept off her feet. I'm pretty sure that feeling didn't last as they never seemed to be a good match but she kept the letters and now so have I. At one time I was heavily into collage and saved anything paper that I might be able to use. As a child I loved all the Christmas cards my father received. He sent out hundreds and got hundreds in return, most to his army buddies. I used to cut out the pictures and stick them to the glass paned front door in our house. These days, I sometimes keep a card that is made from a photo but most of them just get recycled.
