Pillbox Hat

Hat dried quickly, no surprise, this has been an extrememely dry winter in these parts. Everything is snapping and crackling with static, especially my hair. While the hat did turn out to be pretty darned cute, I'm not sure it's right for me, so hopefully one of my daughters will want it. If not, it can go into the donation box.

Found out this morning that my youngest daughter's best friend was diagnosed with breast cancer. So very sad. She's just 42 with 3 children 12 and under and just the nicest woman you could hope to meet. Praying hard for a positive outcome.

Need to go ride bike and then I can perhaps finish the latest baby hat for the donation box. Making a chicken and rice casserole for Anah to munch on after school so will have to get going on that in a hour or so. Need to remember to start the load of laundry I put in the washer.

Snow predicted to start later this afternoon.. maybe 3-5. There's still some on the ground so it could pile up quickly. I'm sure that someday I'll get out of the house again.

May your heart be filled with peace...
